Irving discounted fuel plans are available in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. Necessary information including the Enrollment Form, Historical Pricing, Irving Service Area*, Irving FAQ's, Hilltop FAQ's, and Sign-up for Notifications are located on this page. Minimum to qualify: 300 Gallons propane -or- oil annually.

Rack + Plans
Your rate varies daily and you pay the rate on the day of your delivery. This is Irvings best value plan.
The Rack+ fuel plans offer the best value from Irving. Fixed-rate plans, which you can secure, fluctuate daily, so you need to contact Irving to find out the current rate you can lock in. Please refrain from contacting Hilltop to acquire Irvings daily fixed credit rate - we wont have it.

1. Fixed Rate / Propane: Your fixed price for Propane will be a $0.45 cent per gallon discount off Irving's posted daily Fixed Credit price. For daily pricing and to receive a Fixed Price agreement, members must call Irving at 1-888-310-1924 and provide the Buying Group Code provided after enrollment in a confirmation email. Hilltop will not have this pricing.
The price you fix your gallons for is effective until May 31st of the current Purchase Period, or until your contracted-for gallons are consumed, whichever comes first. Members who consume their contracted gallons before May 31st of the current purchase period will automatically revert to the variable Rack Plus offer for that product for the remainder of that purchase period.
2. Rack-Plus Rate / Propane: The rack plus price offers will fluctuate daily, depending upon the product index and market conditions. The rack plus offers allow you to take advantage of lower heating fuel prices if prices drop during the heating season and does not require you to pre-buy your heating fuel. There is a possibility at times the Buying Group rack plus price could be the same as the provider's retail price or more. We cannot guarantee that the rack plus price will always be lower than the retail price. Pricing will be posted on the Hilltop website every Tuesday as a reference.
1. Fixed Rate / Oil: Your fixed price for Heating Oil will be a $0.20 cent per gallon discount off Irving's posted daily Fixed Credit price. For daily pricing and to receive a Fixed Price agreement, members must call Irving at 1-888-310-1924 and provide the Buying Group Code provided via a confirmation email. You must be a valid member of the Buying Group and an Irving customer to participate. The price you fix your gallons for is effective until May 31st of the current Purchase Period, or until your contracted-for gallons are consumed, whichever comes first. Members who consume their contracted gallons before May 31st of the current purchase period will automatically revert to the variable Rack Plus offer for that product for the remainder of that purchase period. Pricing Tiers: Your discount is based on your PROPANE USAGE from the PREVIOUS YEAR, which determines your reduced rate. If you're already an Irving customer, you can either call them for your usage information or provide your best guess. Ultimately, Irving will assign you the appropriate pricing based on their records.
If you're a new Irving customer, Contact Irving and create an account. Irving will coordinate a site inspection to conduct pressure test on any existing tank. The following pieces of information are helpful for processing your membership, but not required:
1. Contact your provider to obtain your fuel usage from July 1 through the following June 30, or gather usage data from past receipts. This determines your pricing tier with the fuel provider. While you can estimate, keep in mind that the fuel provider will place you into the pricing tier based on your actual usage from the previous year.
2. Fuel provider's account number. This assists the fuel provider in locating your account or transferring services/tanks from a competitor.
Accepted payment methods include Credit Card, Debit Card, and Apple Pay.
Membership is available solely through subscription and automatically renews/charges your card every April 1. We no longer offer manual renewal unless payment is made by check.

Please note, a $25 processing fee is applicable in addition to your membership fee for pay-by-check transactions. Proceed to Step 6 to complete the form and use the coupon code " paybycheck " during checkout to avoid entering an online payment method. Discounts: Hilltop collaborates with various organizations, offering employee membership discounts. Contact your human resources representative to verify if your company is partnered with Hilltop and to obtain the relevant discount code. Updating Billing & Profile: Members can login to their account to manage payment methods, email, subscription, membership and other information.
Canceling Membership: Membership can be canceled anytime by logging into your account or contacting Hilltop. Login to manage your membership.
Refunds: Refunds for the current membership year must be requested prior to Aug 1; no refunds will be issued after that date, without exception. Contact Hilltop.

Pressure Test / New Customers.
A mandatory Irving leak or pressure test fee of $99 for new propane customers is required to offset associated operational costs. Any work as a result of the inspection will require an additional fee for time and material.
State Excise Tax.
1. Once your enrollment form is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email, which should appear in your inbox immediately. If you do not see the confirmation email, please check your junk mail folder.
2. Find he 4 digit PIN number in your email, call Irving and provide them that PIN number 24-48 hour after joining. The PIN number identifies you as a paid Hilltop Member.
3. If you are under a fixed rate plan you're required to enter into a contract with Irving for the season. Failure to do so will not entitle you to a discount on fuel deliveries. Do this when you call with your PIN.

Amerigas maintains the authority to modify the pricing tier you've chosen based on last year's usage, without exceptions. Thus, you cannot subscribe to a pricing tier that does not align with your previous year's usage.

YES. A business can enroll under an AmeriGas plan. Unfortunately Irving Energy does not allow us to facilitate business accounts. If your business uses over 4000 gallons of propane the Member rate is $200. You can select this option when checking out. Hilltop Discounts do not apply to businesses over 4000+ gallons.

YES. None of your account preferences change except for the rate you pay for fuel. Delivery method and payment method all stay the same.
Currently, 90% of members are subscribed to Hilltop's subscription model. We've received an influx of calls from non-subscription members who mistakenly believed they were enrolled, resulting in their memberships lapsing and missing out on Hilltop's discounts.
Always check your spam/junk mail folder after you enroll, the confirmation email is sent instantly and if you don’t see it in your in-box it is probably in junk/spam mail folder.

NO. Hilltop negotiates and arranges discounted fuel plans with the fuel providers. Your relationship with the fuel providers is independent of Hilltop, and any billing or delivery issues should be addressed directly with your provider.”
Irving Energy: For fixed rate fuel plans with Irving Energy, a contract is necessary. It may take 24-72 hours for your membership to be processed into Irving's system, so it's advisable to wait a few days after joining before contacting Irving. When you do call, please provide the 4-digit PIN number 6448 to identify yourself as a Hilltop member. Rack-Plus plans do not require a contract
This is not unusual. Usually, it takes 24-72 hours for your information to be entered and visible in their system. Please wait a few days and then call Irving again. If the issue persists, please contact Hilltop.
In the event that Hilltop's reserved "Fixed" gallons are all consumed by members and replacement gallons cannot be secured, then any remaining gallons you receive will be delivered at a "Variable" or "Rack-Plus" rate.
Note: Hilltop has never run out of fixed gallons but if we did you would still benefit from substantial savings.

The following steps can be done before or after you create an account with Irving.
1. Call Irving Customer Service: 1-888-310-1924
2. Set up a new account and obtain the account number for the Hilltop membership form.
3. If you own your underground tank: Irving will dispatch a technician to test the anode bag. If it passes, they can deliver propane to it. If it fails, they will provide an estimate for repairs.
4. If a competitor owns the underground tank: Irving will send a technician to test the anode bag. If it passes, they will perform a "tank swap" and take over ownership of the tank. If it fails, they will provide an estimate for repairs / new tank.
1. Check your email for the confirmation email. If you don't see it please check your junk/spam folder.
2. Your Hilltop 4 digit PIN number that you are required to provide to Irving is in the email. Wait 24-48 hours and call Irving with your PIN, this identifies you as a paid member. Please note it takes up to 48 hours for your data to propagate the Irving system, if you are told you are not in the system please wait another day and call again.
3. If you are in a fixed rate plan you are required to enter into a contract for the season under the rate you locked in under.

Fixed Rate: This is your "Locked Into" rate and remains unchanged throughout the duration of your membership as specified by the Terms of your AmeriGas Agreement (July 1 - end of June). This plan is ideal for navigating a volatile market, providing stability and enabling effective budgeting. To qualify you must meet the 200 Gal annual minimum.
Rack-Plus: Fluctuates daily and is posted on the Hilltop website once every Tuesday. You pay the rate at the day of delivery, not the order date. Membership automatically enrolls you in auto-delivery with the fuel provider, unless you're authorized for a "Will Call" delivery schedule. Pricing format valid June 1 - May 1.
